Developments that set us apart

FREESIGHT - The docking arm with a clear view

Safety on the road thanks to a compact attachment and a clear view to the front were the top priorities when developing the transversely folded front suction arm for user-friendly, fast filling of slurry tankers. The investment in development has absolutely paid off, as these aspects can be guaranteed at all times without any problems. Technical product highlights include the high efficiency with a delivery rate of 12,000 l/min and other fundamental advantages:

  • Clear forward visibility on the road and in the field
  • Increased security
  • Short and compact attachment in front of the tractor
  • Swivels left/right
  • Filling turbine at the front of the head (10,000 - 12,000 l/min)

As the docking system can be combined with spreading technology from all other manufacturers, our customers gain flexibility. It has often been shown that the FreeSight lays the foundation for Wienhoff technology, the customer becomes convinced of our technology through the purchase and larger projects such as transport technology or spreading technology can subsequently be realized

Drive axle - the first of its kind in Europe

Our driven axle stands for efficiency and yield optimization! The driven axle means that work is gentle on the soil, especially in difficult ground conditions, and the operating time window is extended. The higher efficiency and lower tractive power requirement also reduce fuel consumption. At the same time, all drive units and tractor components are subjected to less stress. Last but not least, the clean ground contour following across the entire working width of the injection equipment ensures a more precise working pattern. Your advantages:

  • Fully automatic axle control via ISOBUS relieves the driver
  • 30 tons load capacity of the axle beam and wheel motors
  • 75 kW drive power of the wheel motors infinitely adjustable and adaptable
  • Speeds: forwards 1-15 km/h ; backwards 1-6 km/h
  • Operation via WieTaCon 12
  • Hill start assist

The Wienhoff drive axle operates in a hydraulically closed circuit. With a volume output of 240 l/min and a maximum of 350 bar of the "hydrostatic drive", only a 100 l oil tank is required, as only 50 l/min must be continuously supplied for cooling via a flush valve. We have also been using this hydrostatic drive for a long time to drive the rotary lobe pump on our slurry tankers to precisely control the application rate.

LevelTuner - safety advantage through award-winning load control and braking system

Political demands and the legal situation mean that our natural fertilizer must be used emission-free, odours must be avoided and, above all, the soil must be protected. Devices for direct incorporation at the rear of the slurry tanker require a specific safety system in order to comply with road traffic licensing regulations (StVZO). By developing the LevelTuner, we have made it possible to guarantee driving safety in road traffic despite attachments from different manufacturers.

The "LevelTuner" has three major advantages:

  1. Automatic load distribution (when the incorporator is attached, the enormous weight generates a negative drawbar support force. Our LevelTuner automatically optimizes the axle load on the slurry tanker and the drawbar load on the tractor when the slurry tanker is full and empty).
  2. The driving stability program (ESP) is an active safety system that prevents the liquid manure tanker from swinging up or tipping over in critical driving situations by automatically activating the service braking system.
  3. The anti-lock braking system (ABS) is an essential function within the brake module. It serves to increase the driving safety and driving stability of the liquid manure tanker during braking, reduces wear on the running surfaces of the wheels and ensures that the tanker tracks true to the road with unrestricted steerability.

Tank assembly on terratrac belt drive - Cooperation with HAWE-Wester GmbH & Co.KG

A slurry tanker of this type basically consists of 2 parts: The chassis from HAWE and the entire slurry unit from our company. The driven terratrac chassis with a width of 890 mm is hydraulically driven and ensures enormous soil protection, regardless of whether the soil is wet or very dry sandy soil.

Advantage for the customer: The crawler chassis can also be used without a tank body. Thanks to the corresponding twist-lock fasteners, the chassis can also be attached to other swap bodies.

The customer is relatively flexible in the choice of equipment in terms of spreader, pump, tank volume, etc.
